Subject: Cleaners & Solvents for the Westy pop top sticker residue

Ok, I think I got all the key words in the subject.

Since I couldn't find anything in the archives as specific as the replies I had to my question, I thought I would post a list of all the cleaners and solvents people have used to either clean their Westy pop top or remove sticker residue or both:

Bathroom Mildew Cleaner (cleaning) Goo Gone (sticker residue removal) Gel-Gloss (cleaning and sticker residue removal) Citrus Degreaser (sticker residue removal) 3M General Adhesive Remover (also called a "release agent" -- same thing?)

I bought a can of Goo Gone from Wal-Mart but haven't had a chance to try it (32 degrees today). I saw both the Gel-Gloss and Citrus Degreaser at Wal-Mart, but the 3M product is much more difficult to find. I was told that I would need to go to some type of auto body paint supply shop to find this stuff.

I've also had several really helpful replies to my signal light problem. I picked up a cheap meter and will try to get to it on Friday. I'll post back when I figure it out. (I won't have access to my e-mail until I get back into town on Sunday.)

Happy Thanksgiving,
