For the rear fog light you have to use same bulb as mounted in the brake
section. Color of the wire is red-yellow, if I remember correctly.

There is a separate wire in the harness.

The wire is not tied to the bright. I guess, you mixed it up with the
front fog lights. It WAS the law, that the front fog lights have to be
deactivated automaticly while the high beams are switched on. But this
isn't true anymore.
