Yes I am installing it. It was shipped out on the 24th. Weddle Engineering built it.

The shift linkages are different, But In talking with John Weddle, He feels I might be able to modify my shift linkage to allow it to drop into 1st. I would cut part of the reverse slider plate off to allow it to drop into first with out pressing down to engage 1st as the synchros do to get into their granny gear. I also could keep it the stock four linkage and just press down to get into first. (This is assuming that it is the same length as a five speed)

The five speed has a spring loaded stop to keep one from shifting into 1st coming out of second. I am thinking about what might be best. I might try shifting like the syncro just to see how it is, then try to modify my linkage.

I think I might go ahead and go with the five speed so shifting will be smoother.

> b.) Convert to Synchro CV joints

I was not told by Weddle that I needed to, It could be that the European did not need to do this and the SA did.
