Subject: Long Distance Moving to Portland Oregon.
Comments: To: vanagon@vanagon.com

I am relocating to the Portland, OR area around Christmas. My '83 Vanagon is my primary vehicle, but is second to my wife's newer Voyager. We (the wife and I) are weighing the pro's vs con's of the drive. The big point is the survivability of ourselves and the van. Has anyone shipped a Vanagon long distance?? If so any offerings of a shipping agencey/vehicle hauler?? We have one bid for $850. I will have to pocket the majority of the expense.
