One of my suppliers is expecting to receive some brand new  (not rebuilt)
Vanagon auto transmissions (including torque converter).  Price should be
$1495 outright (plus shipping).  They are due in about a week, although when
parts are coming from Europe any ETA should be taken with a grain of salt.
