Karl,

At this point I'm wondering if anything is going to break them loose - the one I broke was one of the better ones. It snapped off in an area of no corrosion (full cross-section) after flexing (torsion) about a quarter turn. I do have room to weld a nut on it (great idea!), but I feel the kind of torque I've applied so far will just twist it off. Should I be using an impact driver, heat or what? Pistons and all are removed, with most necessary new parts for re-assembly sitting in a box ready to go. This is frustrating!
