I had this problem with my 85 crew when I first bought it ,it turned out to be
the vent house that go to the plastic tanks that are inside each front
wheelwell.there are 2 hoses om each one ,mine were badly cracked.while trying
to remove one of the hoses using too much brute force Ibroke one of the vents
off of the tank ,luckily i was able to find a used one.my advise is to unbolt
them and slice the hose off with a NEW razor blade and re-install tank .it
worked for me i hope it works for you.
