A side note to this thread: I have driven across this big ol' country many times in my Westies, and would consider driving one for a List-member in either direction. I am also a full-time mechanic (18 years now) and would be able to deal with any mechanical issues enroute. Costs should be in line or less than most transport companies. I am self- employed, so I can fit your schedules.
