I just replaced my rear wiper motor and came to the same idea as above. I was going to attach the VW emblem on top of the red lens. Any ideas on where to get the red lens? FLAPS don't have them unless I want to cut down a larger piece.

I added a 3rd brake light on my 80Westy. Was a Cyclops make. I chose to locate it at the bottom center of the rear window. I snakes 2wires up through the rear pillar and came out at the place where the rear window defogger exits. Then I pulled them down through the rear hatch pillar and attached it to the brake wire. I attached the 2nd wire to ground.

I would perfer a larger lens. This was about 2.5" x 5". I like the ones in the Trooper and did call their parts dept to get a price - Don't recall the exact amount but it was over $300! Gary 88GL Baltimore
