Well, some of you may recall my recent posts for a 2nd gear with 33 teeth, and slider and hub for my 1984 Vanagon Du coded tranny. Well, so far so not so good.

My tranny is in pieces, so I must try another route, unless some soul finds the above in their treasure chest of spare parts.

Now for what probably will be the most optomistic post of the year/decade? How about a good used 4 speed tranny, maybe out of a unfortunate encounter by a Vanagon. I promise it will go to good use, and cared for very well (over 200,000 on this tranny and this is the first time it's been opend).Does anyone have one?

Might as well be totally optomistic: At a resonable price? It could happen.

Todd, if your our there, what would be a fair price for a good used 4 speed? And let me take this opportunity to thank you for your recent help and efforts.

Dennis, I tank you to you as well, for your efforts.

And to all the others who have taken the time to respond, and help in any way they could.

This list is worth it's weight in gold, just for the emotional support that we Vanagon-Nuts receive in a time of crises, when the rest of the world tells us about Areostars, Astros and what-nots.

Again, Thanks in advance

Ron Semko
