Are you sure you have a humble opinon Dr Rainer?...!!!! Quite a rare commodity I hear... But anyway, I too have a responsibility for 6 kids, and having been professionally trained as a high speed ambulance driver (inc much skid training), and having driven 4WD for 10 years Landrovers and Range Rovers and now VW, PLEASE give me credit for a little driving capability (and maybe even a little IQ?) On the other hand, thanks for the diff lock info, this sounds useful, I`d be interested to hear how long everybody elses rear diffs take to come on, but thanks for the Vacuum pointers. PS If you ever come across a spare set of the groovy plastic trim used on the 16inch perhaps you could let me know. Dave Perry Norway 87 Syncroetc.....
