Hello, I was given this address by Walter @ Bus Boys in CA. He suggested it after talking about a problem I'm experiencing. I am the current owner of a 1985 Vanagon Campmobile, named Vincent "Vinnie" Vango with 217K turned so far. The engine is a recently installed reman engine (by VW Canada). The remaned engine has about 18K on it.

I am experiencing the following problem that first surfaced about 3 weeks

ago and we have been trying to remedy it since: When the engine is up to temp and running at highway speed, after about 30 miles or so, it gradually "floods" itself out. It is running ok around town, get it out on the highway though and it keels over. So far we have replaced: the fuel pressure regulator, the vaccum advance unit on distributor, ignition control module, cap&rotor, plugs We think at this point that the ECU is the culprit but, before I blow that kinda dough, I'd kinda like ta know if afterward it will go, ya know?! So, does anyone have any thoughts on this? Does anyone know of a reasonable ECU replacement source? The best I have so far is $395 + $75 core Remaned

by Royze. Does anyone have positive or negative info on Royze? I'm desperate to have my Vinnie back in rollin form! Help!
