Victor - You're rubbing salt into old wounds!!! Indeed, I do hold the patent on the first catalytic converter to be successfully operational when inserted into ruminant rectums, BUT I did lose that USDA grant because I just could not adapt it for use in the opposite orifice! It's difficult to get a ruminant to tolerate a small catalytic converter in there oral cavity!!! Jeez, it was one clean running machine, though. Virtually complete conversion from methane to CO2 & H2O, at 106 degrees! I'm still involved in lobbying the New Zealand government for some more grant monies, though!

My trials with Ovine were abruptly stopped by my neighbors' complaints to our County Health Department! Pig feces IS difficult for neighbors to abide!
