Access to the rear was a concerne when looking for a rack for our Westy. Our solution is a reciever hitch and Yakima GetAway rack. It tilts down for access and keeps the bikes level and secure while doing so. Only three down sides that I see to this system...1. Had to get the hitch mount custom made. $200 2. In a rear end collision our bikes are gone. $800-4000 3. The dirt that is all over the bikes even before we ride. $free

As long as #2 above stays away I'll deal with the rest. See you on the road, or trail, or path, or ???
