Alan,

I have a 93 GL with 75K and the only issues that I have noticed are minor. The instrument panel may be different from the US design, but if the fuel and temp gauges are on the left, there may be a problem with them working intermittently due to a cracked solder joint. I don't have the automatic tranny, but the manual is strange as well. The ratios are awkward with first gear apparently designed for towing. Also, the mileage is crummy (15ish). Overall though my wife and I love it.
