Hi Darrel, I don't know what the best adhesive would be for attaching the carpet. But the two things that come to mind are: 1. Double sided carpet tape. 2. GE silicon seal/adhesive. You could try a test spot of each, and what ever else is suggested on the list. Of course you could call an auto carpet place and ask them. Good Luck Bill 90 Westy Syncro Lake Tahoe
