Subject: Sliding noise?
Comments: To: vanagon@vanagon.com

My 82 Westy has picked up a noise that I can't diagnose. When coming to a stop it sounds just like the battery is sliding forward...but it isn't the battery. Sound comes from under the floor somewhere between the front suspension and the rear seat. Could this be something in the gas heater moving about? (the heater still works, but I have no plans to use it till this is figured out) Any ideas or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mark Sheflo 82 Westy
