Fellow Vanagon Lovers:

My '84 Westfalia, Dela, is looking for a new home. The excuse? The usual: Not enough camping to justify keeping it. The hoped-for replacement? Something with at least six seat belts and a Vanagon badge on it.

Dela has 1.5 years on a re-built engine, 1 year on Yokohama LT tires, 2 months with a new exhaust (head to tail), and lots of tender loving care. The camping kit is in top-notch shape and I'd drive it to Tierra del Fuego if I could budget the time!

The reality is that I have a job I can't leave, and a family of four which will increase to five within the next couple of years. The vehicle I would replace it with is an '89 or younger, possibly even a Syncro.

I'm willing to consider vehicles in the Northeastern U.S. and _anywhere_ in Ontario, Quebec, or the Maritimes. If you think this might be something you'd consider, or if you know of someone who might be interested, drop me a line 'personal mail' for more specific details about my Van.

Unable to lose the VW in my blood,

Marcus Elia Peterborough, ON (1.5 hrs NE of Toronto)
