My 88 Syncro has been squeaking ever since I bought it 6 months ago. I tried to spray it with WD-40, Teflon spray, silicone spray, white grease spray, the only thing that helped was to dismantle the upper control arm and grease the bushings really good. It helped for 2-3 weeks. The thing I was wondering about was: can I drill a small hole through the control arm and bushing, thread it an install a grease nipple, and then grease it every time it squeaks? The annoying sound would disappear, and the bushings would last a lot longer. Please give us some views on this.
