Never seen a "Country Homes Camper" high roof conversion. I was under the impression they only made straight up pop tops. The most common high roof conversion on the US west coast for the vanagon was made by "adventurewagen" in Fort Bragg Ca. The model was called mark VII . Tel. 707 964-4298 from an old brochure. The fiberglass top construction is an outer shell and an inner liner with foam insulation sandwiched between the fiberglass shells. The top has opening windows on both sides and one in the rear. It also has a large sunroof. In addition there are two fluorescent lights recessed into the ceiling. If that is what the "guy " is selling, you are in luck. Make sure it is for a vanagon and not for a type 2 bus. If you want to call country homes camper to double check if they manufactured a high roof for the vanagon in the past, the number is 408 441 6280 in San Jose. I don't know if they are still in business. Good luck on your search. Harald 90 westy.
