The rear table in my Westy makes an awful crashing and banging noise when I drive over a bump in the road. The locking knob won't stay tightened when the table is in the stowed position over the cabinets and when it loosens the rattling begins. Didn't notice it when the kids were using the table in front of the rear seat on a recent road trip however, and the table on my former 81 Westy didn't make a sound at all. I thought I had quieted the racket with a rubber o-ring under the table base but to no avail. Anyone solve this problem? This is driving me batty so if anyone can throw some ideas my way before Gerry heads north please do. Best wishes for a happy holidaze for all! Tony Anthony L.
