<< Hi Chris, I have an 87 Quattro 5000 non turbo, (bigger valves). I prefer the non turbo over the turbo. Audi 4000 quattro's are the same, non turbo, so are Audi 90 and 80's. Quattro doesn't mean turbo. Also the VW Quantum syncro is a Quattro 4000 or non turbo 5000's. The non turbo 5000 Quattro's have the big headlights like 89 - 91 100's, front wheel drive. The turbo 5000's and the turbo Quattro 5000's have the sleek longer rectangular headlights like on the 89 -91 200's. There are Audi 200 20 valve turbo's too with 215 HP. Also a limited addition 1993 100 20 V turbo sport with around 250 HP's. Hope this clears things up a little. See ya, Michael >>

whoops, sorry.. youre right, there were a few non-turbo 5000 quattros made, but more turbo quattros than non turbo quattros...and actually the headlights you're talking about are '86-91...(looking for a set for my '84 turbo w/ the dorky US spec quad square sealed beams... :<(
