Marshall;
The first thing I would check is the idle switch adjustment. If the idle
stop was adjusted the idle switch setting was probably messed up. With
the engine off have someone lightly step on the gas pedal. You should
hear a click coming from under the throttle body just as the gas pedal
reaches the idle position. This is the sound of the switch. Follow the
Bentley procedure for setting properly.
