Sounds to good to be true. Hope I'm wrong! Michael, Sorry to get you so shook up. No, the engine is not stock. A stock diesel Westy will not do 67mph even if you drive it off a cliff. (Safety feature?) I swapped in an '86 Jetta 1.8, and it will cruise all day at 75mph (actual) returning a solid 20mpg. Gives a BIG thrill as the speedo says about 85mph!
