> Any recommendations as to online measuring tool sources (e.g., > micrometers, dial gauges, etc.) required for rebuilding a There are two that I use, one expensive and quality, the other much cheaper and of significantly worse quality. Both seem to send thing quickly and they look the same as the pictures. Both also have a printed catalog which they will send in the first shipment. Quality: Sears/Craftsman brand http://shop.sears.com/store/craftsman/ They have micrometers of different qualities, maybe from about $25 for a 0-1" and more.
Cheap-o: Harbor Freight www.harborfreight.com enjoy! I think they have a 3 piece set of 0-1, 1-2, 2-3 in micrometers for $28 total, I can't say how well they work or last. I'd say you are lucky if they have no rust on them at the time of delivery.
