Disappointingly on the Eurospec conversion one must unload gear, mattress, and open the engine cover to gain access to the oil dip stick and the coolant fill bottle. you can modify the dipstick tube (make it longer) so you can still access it thru the rear lisc plate flap. i had a 77 westy, with a 412 engine in it..the oil dipstick was in the top center of the engine. too hard to check...so i used a long dipstick from a Ford 351, and cut it to fit.....worked great!
