Subject: Can I weld Wasserboxer heads
Comments: To: vanagon@vanagon.com

Hello all

A newbie question if there ever was, but my 90 Vanagon (160 000km) has just sprung a serious head leak and the parts places want $800 AUS for EACH head.

Has anyone successfully welded the aluminium heads?

Thanks.
