<< I think we're fooling ourselves if we believe that the clip method of attaching the deflectors is going to be a quiet long lasting method of attachment. Most of vents I've seen appear to be glued on. I'm wondering if a couple of small dabs of clear silicone on the clips won't help hold these babies on better. These deflectors must expand and contract a bit with temperature fluctuations, and road vibrations would surely loosen them up over time.

Now it's a much different story if the deflectors are not the correct size to begin with. If you check the archives, there seems to have always been a little bit of a problem with these things loosening up. I plan of following the instructions carefully when installing them.

I will try these out before I ship them. If they don't fit, or don't work, then I'm out the cost of shipping these back. >>

i have a pair of the ClimAir ventshades. there are no clips. they attatch in the upper channel of the window just by tension/ pressure. they dont stay in place.... the only alternative is to silicone them in, it seems.
