I recently purchased the ClimAir wind/rain deflectors from MacNeil Auto for my 1989 Vanagon. No wedges were provided and the instructions where pretty much the same as below. I had to send mine back because they did not stay in place. One side seemed to fit better than the other. One side would literally slide down the window track as you drove. The other side would slide down also, but only a little bit. As long as you didn't drive the van or open and close the door, they seemed to stay in place okay :)

I would love to get a set of these that fit. Perhaps mine came from a batch that wasn't sized correctly.
