Rob - Great stuff! When I was in veterinary school at Auburn, back in the mid 70s, we were a few steps before starting a revolt there, over some bullshit the administration was trying to pull on us. One of our Proffs, from Scotland, told us something similar.

Seems a Canadian bird got spoiled in Alabama , during the Summer, with the easy feedings. She let her mates head on North with Winter approaching, but she stayed. Once Alabama started getting cold, she decided to head North, in a hurry. Over Michigan, she ran into some really foul weather. Wings iced up, she became exhausted, passed out and went into a dive. Her fall, at a farm, was cushioned by 12" of snow. While lying there, one the cows managed to drop a load of cow patties directly over her. Before long, she thawed, felt better and stared chirping happily. The barn-yard cat heard her, dug her out of the dung, killed her and ate her!

Moral - Those who shit on you are not necessarily your enemies AND those who dig you shit are not necessarily your friends.

I've always thought about that in my dealings with people.

BOB
