I have the same problem. When my gas tank is really empty, I can get just over
18 gl in it. But the last 3-4 gallons of fuel can be a pain to get in. I have
to let the fuel in slowly for the last few gallons. Who else is having the
same problem? I guess they just don't vent very well. Michael  .

Me too! I have the same problem pumping it to full. Once in a while if the van
is at the right angle going a little down hill when filling, I can do it and
drive away with the needle on the full mark.
I get around 19 miles per gal. and I do have grinding problems getting into
some gears when it's cold. It's better as the trans. warms up, but not always
perfect. I learn to shift slowly while clinching my teeth seems to work.
