Subject: Quad Grille Kit clarifications

OK I have alot of interested in my quad grille kits and quite a few questions as well so I will try to clarify if I can. First of all I messed up with the years. One kit is for '80-'85 (round headlight years) for $250 The other is for '86-'91 (square headlight years) for $290 The kits include: grille Chrome looking VW symbol Hardware needed to install the grille Adjustable mounting brackets for inner lights Inner driving lights (glass and metal sealed beam driving light) Plug and play wiring harness (you just plug it into your existing harness and plug the other end into your lights and you are set) Outter round headlights (stock earlier Vanagon headlights) and mounting brackets (for '86-'91 kit only)

The installation of the grille is very simple as I said the wiring harness is plug and play, the grille requires no drilling to install, only the inner driving light brackets require a couple of holes drilled for mounting them.

The wiring harness is set up so that the driving lights come on when you turn on your high beams. However the driving lights are vertically adjustable and I see no reason why you could not aim them a little lower (so as not to blind others) and with some minor wire splicing have the lights come on with your low beams (add to your meager low beam output).

I think this answers all the questions that I have recieved so far. If you have any more questions or are interested in ordering a kit please let me know. Shipping is going to be around $22-25 to the East Coast and $10-15 to West Coast. (Yes I am in New Jersey, and no this is not backwards!) Thanks again, Ken Wilford Van-Again John 3:16
