During Christmas a friend and I did some measurements on my new 1.9l AAZ TD engine. The measurement method is the one that came out of John's and my email exchange over the vanagon list. The results are listed in the table below. Note that measurements were made with a 2 1/4" straight pipe exhaust, and a custom intake. (Thanks to Mark D. for the parts!) For comparison the AAZ engine in the European VW cars list at 55kW with catalytic converter and stock exhaust and intake.
