Folks, Some of you may recently have had mail to 'vanagon@vanagon.com' bounce. I figured I would send a letter letting you know why this is happening, and giving you a work-around. The machine 'vanagon.com' is my home machine. (I own the domain.) I also serve the DNS for 'gerry.vanagon.com', which always points to the REAL Vanagon list server, wherever it is. This means that if you send email to 'vanagon@vanagon.com', my machine needs to re-route that mail to 'vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com'. (This usually only delays your posting by a few minutes.) Unfortunately, I'm in the process of installing a new mail system on my home machine. While I'm actively working on this system, forwarding to 'gerry.vanagon.com' does not occur, and your mail will bounce. I'm hoping to have this fixed within a week. The simple work-around is to send your mail directly to 'vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com' or 'listserv@gerry.vanagon.com'.
