>Now that the real list is back in action could I suggest one thing? I >really liked the way that the temp Vanagon list that we have been >using for the past few weeks puts the word [Vanagon] in brackets >before each email. May I suggest that if your only wish is to keep mail organized that you set a "mail action" or "filter" so that your mail from the Vanagon List (or any particular source) is channeled automatically into its own separate "folder" or "mailbox", keeping it separate and distinct from other email. This works extremely well and is easily accomplished by most any email program. In my case any Vanagon.com mail is automatically channeled by a mail action into a folder labeled "Vanagon". When the OneList temporary list was created it was a simple matter to add a line to my mail action to also channel mail from the "OneList" source into my "Vanagon" folder. In this way all the Vanagon mail is contained in its own separate folder and there is no chance of confusing it with other emails. I must respectfully disagree with adding "vanagon" to each message in the strongest possible terms. This makes discerning the subject of the message much harder, makes message sorting difficult, and really complicates archiving. In fact each message from the temporary list that I added to my personal archive had the [Vanagon] purged manually from the subject header prior to archiving. My $.02 worth. Tony Anthony L.
