Subject: warm up time?
Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

can the 2.1L engines, lets say circa '88, be damaged by insufficient warm up when used in 15-20 degree weather? Does one have to do this over time, or can one cold start harm an engine? What is damaged? Does RPM have an effect?, in other words, if you were to "baby it along" (not pushing the RPM) until it warms up, I would assume the negative effects would be minimized.
