Ari and all,

I wasn't able to get the word out to everyone before the plug got pulled on Gerry. Some volks got the post, some didn't. I used the roster provided by our statistician, Joel and it was not complete (apparently...) I hosted a temp Vanagon list on the ONElist.com server while Gerry was in transit. When I set up the list I added 715 addresses and required a confirmation message to stay on the list. I ended up with 487 subscribers, so a bunch of folks chose not to be there. The archives for that time period are at http://www.onelist.com/archives.cgi/vanagon. Dave, Ron and I are working on a method to transfer those archives to the archives on Gerry.

I'll keep you all posted on our progress.

Jim Arnott Former Temporary Administrator of the Temp Vanagon List Union, OR USA
