IMHO, for gasoline engines, the 3 essential guages are Oil Temperature, Oil Pressure and Voltmeter. I had them on all my prev Rabbits and Audi. I am going to be putting them on my Vanagon now that it's old enough for me to be paranoid about her health. But I have no idea where to locate them to not ruin the astethics of the dashboard. Waiting to hear suggestions! Yau-Man Chan 87 GL >>> Karl Mullendore <thewestyman@MINDSPRING.COM> 01/07 7:14 PM >>> I'm sure some of you have added auxiliary gauges to your vans by now, so I am wondering what interesting mounting cups, extra consoles, or whatever that you have used, where, and do they look like they belong there? I'm getting ready to install the 1.9 Turbodiesel, and want to add another 3 gauges: one for boost pressure, one for exhaust temp., and a voltmeter. Any thoughts also on other more important ones, or should that do it? Thanks for any input. Karl |
