Hello all, I'm new to the list but have owned type II's since 1977('68 Westy and '78 bus) and now have an '84 Westy I will never part with. I am about to go out to replace my ignition switch since the starter solenoid is not getting enough current (starter newly rebuilt by an expert here). I've heard of using a second solenoid before, but I have searched the archives but can't find anything. Poor search technique probably, but could someone point me to the thread? Thanks. P.S., I'll lurk awhile and review the archives before I risk boring you all with my other questions, experiences, tips and disaster stories! Thanks, Stuart in Seattle '84 Westy '65 MGB '73 MBG GT |
