The seal around the shaft on the vacuum booster went bad and would leak when cold and brittle. As the car and the passenger compartment warmed up, it would go away until the next chilly morning. I had the dealer replace it under warranty. The booster's not serviceable and not cheap. Make sure this is the problem before you go buying a new one.
