Subject: electrical system pulsation?
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

It's alway somthing! Well after a hard Sat. night fighting with windows 95 and the internet, I had a 30 mile ride home in 3-5 inches of slush and frezzing rain. About half way home I noticed the head lights starting to pulse. About 3/4 the way home I noticed the alternator light on the dash pulsing with the head lights and the dash lights. I guess my alternator didn't like all the slush and water It had to eat. I took a quick look at the engine it was covered with wet packed slush!.

This morning I went out in the cold to replace the alternator woth a spare and found nothing wrong. I could not replicate the problem. So this is one for the record. Heavy slush and wet snow may cause temperary charging system malfunction.
