On the subject of A/C...

The 1985 crew that I bought does not have A/C right now. Washington DC summers are hot and sticky, so I would like to add A/C. In fact, I have kept my 1984 Honda as an additional car for the summer just because it has great working A/C! When my Westy was still running, i would drive it in the spring and fall, but the summer forced me into the Honda on hot days.

The Behr unit that fills the glove box is the unti I would like to have. I had this exact setup in my 1981 Vanagon as well, and had no problems.

If anyone parts out a Vanagon with this style unit, please keep me in mind as a potential buyer for your old A/C system.

Thanks, TomC tcarrington@relitech.com
