Stuart, the post you're looking for is in the archives at 10/14/94 among other places. If you haven't used the search engine, you should -- works great for finding specific topics. There are several messages but the one from JackF seemed definitive with part number and wiring info. As you have probably seen in recent items, this solution is not without it's pitfalls. I have installed and plan to keep it even though I have to disconnect the 12V 'fridge option (which I never use anyway).

Like you, my "other" vehicle is British, it's a combination that pretty much assures that things never get too dull in the garage.
