I'd say don't try the carb swap unless you are unconcerned about passing emissions tests (you should be concerned however). One of the main reasons some cars today are running around with 400HP and still passing emissions tests and getting 20mpg to boot is because of fuel injection and computer engine control. You will be kicking yourself if you try to use the carb...you will have to run very lean and basically the van will run like crap. Remember all those nightmarish late 70's to early 80's smog controlled, carburated cars? Fuel injection is really a great thing, just get yours fixed properly and it should be good for the remaining life of your van. Mark
