Folks, I was installing my 2" steel shims at the rear of my Syncro to make my Double Cab level after lifting the front end. I was originally using two factory "donuts" at the top of the spring to give me a small amount of lift (2cm). The bottom donut was almost destroyed! The center of these donuts are entirely make of rubber (the outer part is metal). This center rubber piece has a depression where the spring is supposed to sit. The problem is if there is another donut behind it there is nothing firm for the rubber to rest on. After a few thousand kilometers the center piece will push though. I don't think this poses a safety problem but it is a concern in my mind.
