I have been driving on a stack of 3 or 4 doughnuts up over the top of the spring since 1993 or thereabouts and have observed no unwanted effects. It is possible that the spring has pushed through one or more of the doughnuts in the middle but I won't know without checking. Even if it has pushed through, I will have to see if I think this is a bad thing.
