I have both a 1988 Syncro half-converted vanagon (running on both petrol and LPG - propane) and a 330bhp 1994 S4 Avant quattro (and I know which is the nicer to drive :-)). The Audi has been heavily modified (metallic silver with black leather and carbon trim, Porsche cup alloys with 245/40ZR17 tyres). I know where the engine (and maybe wheels) would end up if ever it was involved in a smash :-) That would be some Vanagon. Picture of the S4 at http://www.ftech.net/~balloons/S4avant.jpg

Regards, Malcolm.
