Hi, quattronauts! I used to own a quattro, I sold it to buy the Vanagon Syncro I am presently driving :-) Does this count? The car was a 1984 Audi 80 GTE quattro, it was Tornado Red, and motivated by a 2,0 5-cyl of 115 hp. What I liked most about this car was, when pushing it through a corner, the tires riding on their edges, I just floored it, and it sucked itself to the tarmac like a Dirt Devil to a shaggy carpet ;-). Driving by this technique is not as easy in the Syncro, but it was not intended to hug the curves anyhow. What I like more about the Syncro opposed to the quattro, is that the quattro is most probably a terrible off-roader. Anyhow, both are terrific winter cars.

PerL 88 Syncro
