The "old" style hub has square, notched cutouts in the shift hub. The newer ones are more raduised. The Bentley mentions the difference, but I think it was the same part #. There is a picture of the old style on my web site at: http://www.relitech.com/tomc/tomvw.htm The difference between the 2 styles is obvious, so you should be able to tell the difference. I wish I had the digital camera back when I replace my 1987's hub with the new style in 1995. Good luck!
