So Yau-Man,

How did you fix your hesitation problem ?, My van seems to go for 7 miles or so and all of a sudden the it feels like it slows down and no power. Of course this happened in the morning with the temp in the mid to upper 30's. Don't know if it's related to your fix but I'll try anything to sort out my van. By the way I have just turned over 163K on my van. I'm the second owner with the original heads but changed the head gaskets in '94.

My tips to longevity? do regular maintenance and run some fuel injection cleaner thru the system once in awhile and think nice thoughts to the Vanagon Gods :^)
